Accommodation
Overview: The house sleeps 8 and offers a spacious, warm and generous living and eating area for up to 12, whilst the outdoors gives a beautiful backdrop for summer nights. Each room has beautiful picture windows which look out onto the stunning scenery.
Living area: There is plenty of comfortable seating with a music system in the living area which plays CDs and has a MP3 and ipod connection capability. There are also lots of good books and games as this is a haven away from television and wifi. The entrance hall is deliberately large to allow space for boots and coats.
Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms: a spacious riverside double with log burner and outdoor access; two bunk beds; and one double / twin (zipped and linked). All beds offer high quality mattresses and fine cotten linen and fluffy bathrobes and luxury towels.
Bathrooms: There are two bathrooms, one with a wetroom shower and another with a full sized bath.
Kitchen: The kitchen is well equipped with a blender, bread oven, high quality cookware and a dish washer. For those who want to cook, you will find all that you need to make a special or simple meal. Your water is straight from an underground mountain spring which goes through a filtration system. A storage room contains a washing machine and dryer as well as an extra fridge and honesty freezer with meat from the farm and Trealy Farm Charcuterie. A multi-bin is available for rubbish and recycling which we sort out at the end of your stay.
Outside area: There is a large patio area equipped with a BBQ, table with chairs and assorted garden seating. There is also a firepit and log seats for anyone wishing to have a campfire.
Energy, heating and green credentials: The house is complete with radiators and hot water all supplied by renewable energy via an air source heat pump. The wood burning stove is a real treat for winter gatherings and comes with a ready supply of firewood from our farm. We regularly replant broad-leaved trees to replace those felled.
